My career started in front of a camera.

As a TV news anchor and journalist, I learned the craft of storytelling under pressure. How to distill complex issues into narratives that inform, move, and compel action. Every night, I had to earn the trust of an audience in seconds.

That instinct followed me into the corporate world, where I led communications strategy for a billion-dollar brand. I learned how to build messaging architectures that scale, how to align teams around a shared narrative, and how to use data to understand what resonates with audiences.

Then AI changed everything. I watched as large corporations raced to adopt generative AI, while nonprofits and small businesses — the organizations actually changing lives and building communities — were left behind, overwhelmed, and afraid.

I knew I could bridge that gap. Not just as an advisor who tells you what to do, but as a builder who creates the actual tools your team needs. Custom AI platforms designed for your workflows, your donors, your customers, and your mission.

My approach to AI strategy is grounded in formal training across communications, marketing, and business strategy. I hold a Master's in Strategic Communications from Purdue University, a Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell, and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. That combination — storytelling, systems thinking, and business strategy — is what makes Citrus Impact different.

I don't just understand the technology. I understand how to make it work inside real organizations with real missions.
